  1. PeaZip is a free, Open Source file and archive manager.
  2. Create 7Z, ARC, BZ2, GZ, *PAQ, PEA, QUAD/BALZ, TAR, UPX, ZIP
  3. Extract more than 120 file formats as ACE, CAB, DMG, ISO, RAR, UDF...
  4.  
  5. PeaZip allows to create, convert and extract multiple archives at once, 
  6. create self-extracting archives, bookmark archives and folders, apply 
  7. powerful search filters, scan and open files with custom applications, 
  8. apply strong encryption, split/join files, secure data deletion,
  9. checksum and hash.

  11. To change application's language, use Options > Localization.

  13. Shortcuts to PeaZip's most used functions are available in context
  14. menu and alternatively in SendTo menu.

  16. You can save layout of archiving and extraction operations to speed
  17. up future backup and restore, you can also save job definitions 
  18. (i.e. to be used in scripts), and get detailed job log after each 
  19. operation.
